A little bit’ about me

Born and raised in Texarkana, Texas, Mariah found her love for storytelling when she was four. TV western re-runs of Bonzana and The Riflemen were always on in her home, and when she discovered West Side Story for the first time from her mom, it was a wrap.

When it comes to theatre, she enjoys stories that feel interactive, movement-based, and authentic. She values collaboration and proudly aims to create more access for women of color like herself on and off the stage through all of the work she does. This May, she graduated with her BFA Acting degree from Texas State University and is now based in Austin.

When she’s not performing, she enjoys directing, harmonizing with friends,  mapping out Sims 4 builds, listening to Donny Hathaway, or binging natural hair videos on youtube.
